MARC - The Mindful Awareness Research Center is par of the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Their mission is to foster mindful awareness across the lifespan through education and research to promote well-being and a more compassionate society.

PNIRS - The PsychoNeuroImmunology Research Society began in 1993 and brings together the research scientists in neuroscience, immunology and the behavioral sciences. PNIRS publishes the journal Brain, Behaivor & Immunity.

APS - The American Psychosomatic Society's mission statement is to promote and advance the scientific understanding of the interrelationships among biological, psychological, social and behavioral factors in human health and disease, and the integration of the fields of science that separately examine each, and to foster the application of this understanding in education and improved health care. The Society publishes Psychosomatic Medicine.

SFN - The Society for Neuroscience is an organization of basic scientists and physicians who study the brain and nervous system. Its membership has increased from 500 members in 1969 when it was founded, to nearly 38,000 members, making it the world's largest organization of scientists devoted to the study of the brain. SFN publishes The Journal of Neuroscience.
